February 16, 2012 The Library is hosting a five-part series of book discussions through April surrounding the American Civil War. Discussions will be led by Civil War scholar and Missouri State University history professor Dr. William Garret Piston. This month's topic is Choosing Sides with a discussion of selections from "America's War: Talking About the Civil War and Emancipation on Their 150th Anniversaries" edited by Edward L. Ayers. Copies of the books will be made available to the participants.
