EDGE to the Rescue: Essential Computer Skills
9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Make sure you have the mouse, keyboard and word processing skills you need to effectively function in today's technology-based society. Brush up on your computing skills and get familiar with Windows desktop functions. Learn the basics of word processing using Microsoft Word, including entering and editing text, formatting, opening and saving documents, printing and where to go for help. Experience using a mouse and keyboard is recommended.

Learn how to register for and use free Web-based e-mail services and find out about other methods of online communication. Experience using a mouse and keyboard is recommended.
